The Mage Hideout environment is built in Unreal Engine using for the most part modular assets and tileable textures.
I developed this environment to see how far I could push modularity in term of modeling, texturing and materials.
The environment is inspired by Eichenwalde Overwatch map: at the beginning I pictured it as library within the castle, but afterward I decided to mix it with some World of Warcraft elements (like the Stone Face fountain, the Elven chairs and the Dranei tables).
The night version is how I imagined the environment from the beginning: I developed the day scene as well to challenge myself with the lighting and test textures and materials in different light conditions.
I created everything in the level, except for the candles and the water texture.
